Known Issues

The following features are known not to be supported by this version of VSDX Export. This is not an exhaustive list.

Unsupported VSDX features

  • Themes

  • Hand-drawn shapes

  • Foreign shapes with a ForeignType other than 'Bitmap'

  • Integrated VBA solutions

  • Masters with multiple toplevel shapes

  • Some functions like e.g. FORMAT

  • Shape text referencing inherited Character, Paragraph, or Field rows (the referenced rows must be present on the shape itself).

Unsupported SVG features

  • Gradients with gradientTransform attribute

  • ClipPaths

  • Patterns

  • Stroked text

  • FillRule attribute

  • CSS text-transform property

  • Filter element

  • Text decoration

Unsupported yFiles for HTML features

  • Edge ports

  • Custom arrows

  • Different stroke for edge style and arrow style

  • Automatic conversion of Canvas and WebGL styles

  • Font’s textDecoration property

  • HTML visuals
